Digital Art, Digital Culture by Houda Bakkali at Al Riwaq Art Space
The exhibition Digital Art, Digital Culture by Houda Bakkali forms part of Novembre Numérique 2024, an international initiative led by the Institut Français and the Alliance Française Bahrain. The project is presented at Al Riwaq Art Space, one of the country’s key venues for contemporary art and cultural exchange.
Within the framework of this initiative, the exhibition explores new forms of digital expression and cultural mediationthrough the integration of physical artworks, augmented reality and immersive digital content. The project examines how emerging technologies can be applied to the interpretation of cultural heritage, artistic production and public engagement.
Through its combination of physical works, augmented reality, multimedia resources and virtual platforms, Digital Art, Digital Culture by Houda Bakkali demonstrates the capacity of digital art to extend traditional exhibition models, adapt to diverse spaces and audiences, and operate across geographical and temporal contexts.
