The Alliance Française of Saudi Arabia Presents the Vibrant Art of Houda Bakkali at the iconic Hayy Jameel
The Alliance Française of Saudi Arabia unveils the colorful and immersive work of Houda Bakkali in an exhibition titled “Happiness”. The show brings together physical artworks, virtual art and augmented reality, and will be presented across several venues of the iconic French cultural institution.
Designed as a multidimensional artistic experience, the exhibition highlights the power of digital art to break spatial, temporal and generational boundaries, fostering meaningful connections between diverse audiences. By combining multiple formats, spaces and techniques, the project positions art as timeless, universal, accessible and deeply human.
Bakkali’s work stands out for its female perspective, vibrant use of color and messages of hope, seamlessly integrated with educational content that explores the value and potential of new technologies applied to art. The exhibition invites visitors to engage with creativity not only as an aesthetic experience, but also as a tool for understanding, dialogue and cultural transformation.
“I am deeply grateful to the Alliance Française of Saudi Arabia for presenting my art with such care and professionalism. This is a very special experience, full of excitement, where I share my work, my creative process and my motivations while looking toward the future with enthusiasm. I am constantly seeking new ways to share creativity and to spread a culture of the future—one that emerges as a perfect balance between our legacy and the most disruptive trends. I am truly thankful for the warm welcome given to my work and for this unique opportunity,” says Houda Bakkali.
With Happiness, the Alliance Française of Saudi Arabia reinforces its role as a key platform for cultural innovation.
