On February 1st, Houda Bakkali’s work was featured at the first cultural event held at the Alliance Française in Kampala, Uganda. The event highlighted SoFar Kampala, a live music festival celebrating diversity, friendship, and creativity within a cultural environment that embraces the fusion of tradition and modernity.
The Alliance Française in Kampala is a meeting place for cultures and a prime example of a forward-looking vision built through education, culture, and innovation.
“It is a great honor for me to have my work in this institution, a true bastion of French culture and heritage. It is an honor to be able to bring my work and creative vision closer to the local community and to share the challenges that innovation and new technologies applied to creativity hold for us,” commented Houda Bakkali.
This event complements Houda Bakkali’s exhibition at the institution’s media library, which was held in November 2026.
