L’Alliance Française New Delhi hosts Houda Bakkali’s digital art. This exhibition at AF New Delhi seeks to exemplify the power of digital art to break spatial, temporal and generational boundaries, creating synergies between different audiences and making art not only timeless, but also universal, close and understandable. This exhibition weaves physical, virtual, multimedia and immersive art that the public can not only visit, but also experience with and become part of the narrative. In addition, it is complemented with educational and informative content on binomial art and new technologies.

“Digital art is not a trend, it is the present and it is the future. My art represents the need to tell stories through different environments, capable of surprising, in which the viewer can immerse themselves, as is the case of augmented reality that allows the public to become part of the work. It is a way of experimenting with my work, of experiencing its different versions. It also allows me to expand the story and give it life or give it several lives, as many as I want, changing the story, making it grow, introducing new characters and settings. The canvas becomes infinite. “Digital Art, Digital Culture” is an artistic project focused on creativity and technology to inform, train and entertain, creating art with different uses, explaining new concepts, sharing new ideas and creative processes. Creating a universal message of hope and joy, through color and shapes, without generational, temporal or physical limits. A timeless, happy, simple and useful message.” Bakkali says.
Bakkali’s exhibition hosted by AF New Delhi is the best example of the versatility of digital art. Of its ability to unite synergies with audiences around the world without borders. Through virtual spaces, augmented reality and multimedia content, visitors can enjoy some of Bakkali’s masterpieces inspired by different ideas and with the female beauty as the protagonist, with a special mention to India and France, a country where Bakkali has exhibited on numerous occasions and has been awarded with the Paris Design Awards in 2020 and the prestigious New Talent Award at the Artistes du Monde Festival in 2018. in Cannes, amongst other distinctions.
