The Alliance Française of Saudi Arabia presents Happiness, an exhibition by Houda Bakkali hosted at Hayy Jameel, one of the country’s leading cultural centers. The project brings together physical artworks, digital gallery and augmented reality.
The exhibition adopts a multidimensional exhibition format that integrates physical and digital media, examining how digital art can extend traditional exhibition frameworks and facilitate access, learning and cultural exchange across diverse audiences. By combining multiple formats, spaces and technologies, the project situates digital art as a tool for mediation, communication and public engagement within contemporary cultural contexts.
The exhibition is complemented by educational and interpretative content that explores the applications and implications of emerging technologies in artistic practice. Through this approach, Happiness positions creativity not only as an aesthetic experience, but also as a platform for dialogue, knowledge dissemination and interdisciplinary exploration.
Through this initiative, the Alliance Française of Saudi Arabia reinforces its role as a platform for the dissemination of contemporary artistic practices and digital culture, while contributing to international cultural exchange and educational outreach.
