“Novembre Numérique” is an international initiative led by the French Institute in Paris that aims to promote access for all to new technologies, to promote the diversity and universal dialogue between creators and audiences.
Houda Bakkali’s exhibition “Digital Art, Digital Culture” seeks to exemplify the power of digital art to break spatial, temporal and generational borders, creating synergies between different audiences and making art not only timeless, but also universal, close and understandable. “Digital Art, Digital Culture” is a global artistic project that fuses physical and virtual art, without spatial, generational or temporal limits, with simultaneous and multidisciplinary exhibitions where art is the nexus between educational communities, cultural institutions and local collectives, merging creativity and learning.
“Digital Art, Digital Culture” has been exhibited in various public cultural spaces and at various Alliance Française around the world. Every exhibition is the same and every exhibition is completely different. The same artworks, but different formats, different spaces, different audiences, making art a universal good.
Art is art. Everywhere, everytime. Art speaks for itself and its challenge is to create something unique and timeless.
This is the best example of the versatility of digital art. Its ability to share synergies with different audiences around the world without borders. Through physical art, augmented reality, multimedia and immersive content and virtual galleries, visitors can enjoy some of Bakkali’s masterpieces anywhere, anytime, and learn about the tools, creative process, uses and values of digital art.

EMPOWERMENT, DEMOCRATIZATION AND SUSTAINABILITY
“The new artistic movements and trends that are digitally based or complemented by the use of digital tools and technologies open up new discussions on sustainability and social responsibility, debates on the need to generate opportunities and create artistic contexts that grow around more accessible, open and equitable principles and spaces, without physical or generational barriers that limit access to art and artistic creation through new technologies. Thinking about the future of art also means thinking about the challenges and the many benefits offered by digital spaces.

IMPACT AND TRANSFORMATION
“Art is transformative when it becomes an organic and daily tool for empowerment. Art is transformative when genius and originality inspire emotion and reflection, dialogue and recreation. Art is transformative when its aesthetic and conceptual function transcends spatial, temporal and generational boundaries. Art is a timeless, exclusive and unique luxury, and it is transformative when artists turn it into an accessible, understandable and useful commodity. Art is transformative when it has the unlimited reach and impact of transmitting and sharing knowledge. Art is a matter of form and substance, of imagination and information”. Houda Bakkali
