On February 1st, Houda Bakkali’s work was featured at the first cultural event held at the Alliance Française in Kampala, Uganda. The event highlighted Sonar Kampala, a live music festival celebrating diversity, friendship, and creativity within a cultural environment that embraces the fusion of tradition and modernity.
The Alliance Française in Kampala is a meeting place for cultures and a prime example of a forward-looking vision built through education, culture, and innovation.
This event follows Houda Bakkali’s exhibition at the institution’s media library, which opened in November 2026.
